Inspiration of the Week

I have recently  interviewed  an inspiring MUA from nothing but the best ; NYC. I love her makeupbytaniceamira blog because it gives me insider in african american makeup. I look at her make up photos and it makes me evolve meaning it moves me in a way where it inspires my next photo! She is drop dead beautiful and will be successful in the industry! 

We interviewed her and these are the things she stated! 

"Hi 27thdaily, 

I really appreciate your interest in my work and brand: Makeup by Tanice Amira! 

My Passion for makeup came from my love for art. I've tried many different task in life such as modeling, working as a finance consultant even nail tech. But nothing makes me happier than to do something I love and what make others feel good about themselves at the same time. 

One well known artist I look up to is Pat McGrath.  She has so much creativity and style with a beautiful image to top it off; I would kill to be able to work with her some day. I also follow designers such as Dolce and Gabbana, who I love not only for their fashion but the makeup you'll see in their ads and runway shows. 

There are so many great makeup brands that I love and different products for different reasons. Some might have to be Giorgio Armani, Dior, Lancôme, Mac, makeup forever and temptu. But the list can go on.

I really appreciate the support you've shown. I have so much more to show and many other projects I will be introducing toward the end of the year. Thanks again and wish you nothing but success with your new blog!

Fashion x WCW

Karucche Tran is our WCW this week! Her style incredibly beautiful and affordable for the common person. Her favorite thing to wear is simple top and bottom from some of her favorite shops such as Zara and Top Shop( just to name a few )and with more high end shoes such as Givenchy ; she kills it in the fashion world.

On top of her fashion she has a beautiful outview on life and a role model for many. Being 15 yrs old she is one of my role models! She show girls from around the country that it is ok to petite and model. She also teaches that you can do whatever your heart desires .Being that im so young and short she inspires me to keep trying and to trust in god. She is a strong Phenomenal women !  Despite all the negative comments people give her; I love her !

Memorials Day

Today should be a honree of the soldiers ! How ? Wear red white and blue and then throw on some stylish shades! Its easy ! Im wearing a white and blue shirt from h&m, blue highwaists and white converses! Staying cool in this nice weather ! God Bless and be safe!

Bob Marley Inspired

A man that I have recently spotted at a local festival was actually on point ! He gave me the feel as if I had stepped into Jamaica .He was wearing denim washed overalls with an army shirt underneath and a varisty black jacket with leather sleeves . And to top it all off black shoes/combats. As you can see he stepped out of the box . 

Bob marley was known for his music and message but if you pay close attention we loved him because of his unique art including fashion . I can guess his fav designer being TOMFORD because he always weared it. He made a fashion statement .When I think about what he contributed from a styling perspective there are a few major standouts:

• Track jackets
• All in one denim looks/patchwork denim
• Military jackets
• Berets and knit caps

All of these looks have influenced street wear for the past 30 years and they will continue to be relevant looks into the future.  

Exercise and Fashion Mix?

Im sitting here sick in bed ' and was thinking why not post about yesterday ! Yesterday was mothers day and I went  exercising  around 5 pm! Since im trying to stay healthy , I ran and walked 2 miles! Guys when its beautiful out go and enjoy the weather and you will be in shape in a quick jiffy! Plus when you work out  fashion looks even better on you and feels better!

MET GALA 2014 ! Top 3 Best DRESSED!

These Three Lovely Ladies ; Rita Ora, Beyonce and Rihanna attended the Met Gala event last night. 

The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. It also serves as an opening celebration for the institute's annual fashion exhibit. It is widely regarded as one of the most exclusive social events in New York and one of the biggest fundraising nights of the city with a reported nine million dollars raised in 2013.The affair, attended by personalities from the arts, fashion and entertainment, has been held at the Met since 1971 and is considered to be the fashion industry's premier annual red carpet event.

Rita Ora (on the left) was wearing a antiqued gold tulle gown by Donna Karon  , which featured plenty of sequins, a standout train, and a sexy slit.

She accessorized it with a gold clutch bevvy of white and gold baubles and a slicked hair style to make it even better. BEST OF THE NIGHT
